Mitzi is a female Smooth Coat Chihuahua

Mitzi ame into our care quite some time ago with awful back legs. She had grade 4 luxating patellas in both legs which also made her walk like a crab. Both her knees have been surgically fied now and doing really well. Unfortunately just as she got over all her surgery her cruciate ligament went. After seeing the orthopedic vet again and xrays they agreed she was just too small to keep doing surgery, so she has been on strict rest and it has healed itself. She does the occassional hop as its still healing.
Mitzi is a very sweet girl. She can live with other Chihuahuas or on her own if shes not being left.
Mitzi needs to refrain from jumping too much on and off furniture, she will need steps to aid this. She will bark on the lead when seeing other dogs
